The back yard is sucking less (sorry, it really did suck). The deck is amazing. KP had mulched everything, added something like 6 yards of crushed granite, I can't tell you how much concrete, and a sand box. He still had the trim, to repair the lid of the sandbox, and build a swing set left. All in due time!

Back Yard Days
We have been spending most of our evenings on walks or on the back deck (yay!). It has been wonderful. On our walks, Nash has picked a couple of lavish gardens with little sculptures and treasures to really enjoy. He will sit next to little objects and talk about them and how pretty they are. He loves to smell the flowers (and pick the occasional one or two). We are really enjoying being reminded to stop and smell the flowers. We are also loving the sense of community it gives us to be out in our 'hood.
