NAP: 35 Months

Dear Nash,
ALMOST three.  You are almost three years old.  Wow.

We had a wonderful Christmas.  We spent a week at Mimi and Buddy's and then had Grammy and Grampy in town for a week.  It was delightful having so much family around to play with.  Of course you loved hanging out with Luke and Davey (Davis).  You even had a sleepover at Midge and UM's house.  Actually, you had two!  At Mimi and Buddy's, you played outside, rode and drove the gators, jumped on the trampoline, watched Movies, played groceries, and learned to cast a line.

SANTA also visited you there.  You were thrilled, but a little confused.  On Christmas night, you said, "I go to sleep and Santa comes again!" If only, son.

The next week we did lots of playing with Grammy and Grampy.  You especially got into Legos at their house.  You also love to build forts with Grampy and help out in the yard. Grammy spoiled us rotten with dinners every night and lots of free time for Mommy.  Ahhhh!

UM suggested we start potty training so pull ups began last month.  More on that in your next post.

You are an especially strong-willed child.  In the last month you have started to see Sissy as more of a hindrance than before.  She gets in your way and takes your things and doesn't get in trouble.  Not cool.  You also have very specific ideas about how things should be done.  Usually your version and ours are not the same.  Mommy and Daddy are working hard to get us on one page.

Speaking of...you like to call Daddy "Daddy Kevin" and me "Babe" or "Ms. Amy".  Pretty silly.

You also love books, reading, movies, Legos, ice cream, PB&J, meatballs, all fruit, pizza, playing outside, school, friends, soccer, dancing, and being silly.

And...We love you,

Mom
