My Mom. That's really all I have to say, but for those of you who do no know my Mom, the photo below will explain a lot. She's game for pretty much everything and because she always has fun, people ask her to do some pretty funny stuff.
Let me explain, in the big city of Manvel, there's a Christmas tradition that's been going on for a few years. Some neighbors of my parents LOVE to decorate for Christmas. In fact, they love it so much that they fill, literally, their home full of Christmas trees, singing toys, great smells, and pure holiday cheer. They also have a real sled in their front yard, where children can ask Santa for presents, meet Mrs. Claus, and have some hot chocolate. It's unreal and really cool!
Mimi was asked to be an elf to help show guests through the house to view all of the trees. She did a great job on her first night and has two more nights of Elfhood in her immediate future.
Elf Mimi, in front of her own tree.
Michael Patrick with Santa.
Luke and Davis with Elf Mimi and Santa. As we were pulling up, Luke informed us that he only wanted to stand next to Santa. I think having Mimi there, in full Elfwear, helped the boys get a little closer.
Another pic of Mimi Elf and the Boys.
Me and KP, after a very long day, in front of the rotating tree.
Just look at this dining room! Poinsettias everywhere!
This is a view into the main room. How many trees can you spot?
Sunflower tree in the bathroom?
Hot pink foil tree!
Pink poinsettias in the bedroom!
We loved the big outdoor lights on this tree.
And the huge character ornaments covering this one!
Luke and Davis in front of a blue feather tree. Davis was given two Clementines by Mrs. Claus, which he squished in order to eat a bite (luckily this occurred at his house, outside).
This purple bathroom was my favorite.
Look at the purple tree in the shower! Wow, holiday decadence at its finest.
